Vaughan Road Academy has established an excellent reputation for providing students with opportunities to acquire skills and knowledge in a safe and positive learning environment. Our balanced academic curriculum includes programs in the arts, business, the pure and applied sciences, mathematics, communications, the social sciences, cooperative education, health and physical education. We emphasize research and study skills, as well as critical thinking skills.

Our standards are high. We have clear and well-articulated expectations of our students in the area of attendance, performance, and achievement. School uniforms, the Empowered Student Partnerships (ESP) Safe Schools Program, student leadership programs and supports, a student/parent/school contract, and community service are important features of our school program.
