Maplewood High School

Maplewood High School is a specialized learning community that provides a safe and nurturing environment for students with special needs. Our supportive and caring staff strives to prepare our students to become contributing members of society through our focus on personal and social responsibility, as well as employment and independent living skills.

Our goal is to develop each individual student's unique potential by teaching academic, social, and career skills. These skills will help students take a responsible and productive place in today's society, succeed in the job market, and develop a desire for life-long learning.

We offer a comprehensive range of courses which focus on improving academic, technical and employability skills. Our Co-operative Education program allows students to acquire skills and actual work experiences which aid in the transition from school to employment. Our Special Education and Guidance Programs also provide individualized support and programming.
