C W Jefferys Collegiate Institute

C.W. Jefferys Collegiate Institute is named after the artist whose work has contributed much to education in the areas of Canadian History and Art. His legacy continues in the school's award winning Visual Arts Program that attracts talented students from the northern region of the Board.

Jefferys takes pride in its strong curricular and co-curricular programs. To compliment our vibrant Arts programs, we have introduced ESTeM, a program of excellence designed to stimulate and challenge students through a project based, hands on, exploratory approach to the Sciences, Mathematics, and Computer Technology.

Our students excell in all areas of academic pursuit, consistently ranking among the top winners in mathematics and science competitions. Each year, our students are the recipients of numerous bursaries and entrance scholarships to some of the province's top colleges and universities. Our post-secondary acceptance rate is a noteworthy 80%.
